Everything happens in your browser. Most online converters upload your pictures to their servers first; this one never sends them anywhere, which matters when the images are ID cards, bank statements, medical forms, or signed contracts.

Choosing the page layout

• Page size — Fit to image makes every page exactly the shape of its picture, with no white bars. A4, US Letter, and US Legal give you a standard printable document; each image is scaled to fill the area inside the margins and centred.
• Orientation — Auto turns each page landscape or portrait to match its image, so a mix of wide and tall photos all come out as large as possible. Pick portrait or landscape to force every page the same way.
• Margin — none, ¼ inch (6 mm), or ½ inch (13 mm) of white space around each image.
• Options — Fill page crops the edges so the image covers the whole printable area instead of leaving bands; Image quality can recompress photos to shrink the PDF; and you can name the file.

Full quality by default

With Image quality on Original, JPEG photos are placed in the PDF byte-for-byte — no re-encoding, no generation loss, and the smallest possible file, since a PDF can hold a JPEG as-is. PNGs are stored losslessly. Pick High, Medium, or Small file only when you need the PDF smaller, for example to get under an email or upload limit; a JPEG that is already smaller than its recompressed copy is kept as it is.

Phone photos come out the right way up

Phones save the camera sensor's pixels as captured and record which way you held the phone in the photo's EXIF Orientation tag. Plenty of converters ignore that tag and produce sideways pages. This tool reads it from each JPEG and applies the rotation (or mirroring) when it places the photo, without touching the image data — then applies any extra turns you add on top.

The two photos keep their original JPEG bytes, so the PDF is barely larger than the photos themselves.

Limitations

• HEIC photos (the iPhone default) only open in browsers that can decode HEIC, which today means Safari. Elsewhere, set the iPhone camera to Most Compatible or export the photos as JPEG first.
• Animated GIFs and WebPs contribute their first frame only.
• Images are placed as pictures, so text in a scanned document is not searchable (no OCR).
• Very large batches are limited by your device's memory; when re-encoding, images above about 16 megapixels are scaled down to what every browser's canvas can handle.

How do I convert a JPG to PDF for free without uploading it?

How do I combine multiple images into one PDF?

Select or drop all the images at once (you can add more later), arrange them with the arrow buttons or by dragging, and create the PDF. Each image becomes one page in the order shown. Sort by name puts numbered scans like page1, page2, … page10 into their natural order in one click.

Why are my phone photos sideways in the PDF?

Phones store photos in the sensor's orientation and save which way the phone was held in an EXIF tag, which many converters ignore. This tool reads the EXIF orientation and places each photo upright automatically. If a picture was genuinely taken sideways, use its rotate button to turn it in 90° steps.

Does converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?

Not with the default Original quality setting: JPEG files are embedded in the PDF byte-for-byte and PNGs are stored losslessly, so the pictures inside the PDF are identical to your files. Quality only drops if you choose one of the recompression settings to make the PDF smaller.

How do I make the PDF file smaller?

Open Options and set Image quality to High, Medium, or Small file. Every image is then re-encoded as JPEG at that quality, which usually shrinks phone photos several times over. For the smallest files, resize huge photos first with the Image Resizer — a 12-megapixel photo is far more detail than an A4 page needs.

Can I convert PNG, WebP, or screenshots to PDF too?

Yes. PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, and any other format your browser can display all work, and you can mix formats in one PDF. PNGs keep their full quality; other formats are converted losslessly to PNG inside the PDF unless you choose a JPEG quality setting.

Should I use A4 or US Letter?

Use US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) in the United States and Canada and A4 (210 × 297 mm) almost everywhere else — it matters mainly if the PDF will be printed. Choose Fit to image when the PDF will only be viewed on screen, so each page is exactly the shape of its photo without white borders.

Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to PDF?

Only in Safari, currently the one major browser that can decode HEIC images. In Chrome, Edge, or Firefox a HEIC file is reported as unreadable; share the photos from the iPhone Photos app (which converts them to JPEG) or switch the camera format to Most Compatible, then add the JPEGs here.
