Utilities tools
Timestamps, Base64, UUIDs, passwords, hashes, regex, and other everyday helpers.
Encode text to Base64 or decode Base64 to text, with full Unicode support and the URL-safe variant.
Convert numbers between binary, decimal, hexadecimal, and octal with linked live fields — plus text to UTF-8 binary or hex bytes and back.
Compute MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 hashes of any text in your browser.
Generate strong random passwords with a cryptographically secure RNG.
Test JavaScript regular expressions against sample text with inline match highlighting, capture groups, named groups, and a replace preview.
Convert Unix timestamps to human-readable dates and back.
Generate cryptographically random UUID v4 identifiers, one or in bulk, with uppercase, no-hyphen, and quoted formats.
About Utilities tools
These are the tools developers reach for a dozen times a week: converting a Unix timestamp into a readable date (with seconds versus milliseconds detected automatically), encoding and decoding Base64 with proper Unicode handling, generating UUIDs one at a time or in bulk, and computing MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, or SHA-512 hashes of a piece of text. The regex tester highlights matches inline as you type, with capture groups, named groups, and a live replace preview.
The generators use the browser's cryptographically secure random source — the password generator shows its entropy in bits and can exclude look-alike characters, and the UUID generator produces standard v4 identifiers in whatever format your code expects. The binary converter links binary, decimal, hexadecimal, and octal fields live, and also converts text to and from UTF-8 bytes.
Everything computes locally in your browser: passwords are generated on your machine and never transmitted, hashes are computed without your text going anywhere, and the pages keep working offline once loaded.
