About YouTube Earnings Calculator
Two ways to estimate: if you have your RPM from YouTube Studio (revenue per 1,000 views, already net of YouTube's cut), earnings are simply views × RPM ÷ 1,000. Without it, the CPM mode models the chain — advertiser CPM, the share of views that show ads, and the standard 55% creator revenue split — to approximate what a video might earn.
Common uses
- Project income for a video that's trending toward a view milestone
- Explain to a sponsor how ad revenue compares to their offer
- See how a niche's higher CPM changes earnings at the same views
Limitations
- Rates are editable defaults based on publicly listed standard fees — always confirm current fees with the platform
- RPM and CPM swing hugely by niche, season, and audience country — treat results as rough estimates, not projections.
